Why it matters. The Santa 5K is a one-of-a-kind holiday race benefiting the band programs at Asheville High/SILSA and Asheville Middle School, over 300 students across all schools. The race is the primary funding source for masterclasses with expert musicians, giving every band student small-group instruction, not just those who can afford private lessons.
100% of your sponsorship goes directly to Asheville City Schools bands for masterclass instruction. Your business will be seen by hundreds of runners, families, and spectators (more than 300 runners took part in 2025), and our band students perform on race morning.

Deadlines
- Friday, October 30, 2026: deadline to guarantee your logo on race signage.
- Friday, November 13, 2026: deadline to guarantee your logo on the race t-shirt.
How to become a sponsor
- Choose your level and complete the online sponsorship form. It takes about five minutes.
- Upload your logo on the form (ideally 300 × 300 px) and tell us whether you'll be onsite on race day.
- Pay by credit card or check. After submitting, go to the shopping cart at the top of the page to finish.
