These are fitted during camp and are stored at AHS. They should almost never go home or leave the building. These are checked out in August and checked in after the parade in December. These are dry cleaned as part of the band fee and there is no extra charge to use them. However, if they are lost or damaged the replacement cost is $350 for the coats, $100 for the pants, $40 for the shoes. We must take care of what we have, keep them at school, and turn them back in when you are done. All parts of the uniform are provided and cleaned as part of the fee.

• Coat, Pants (Bibbers), Black Shoes- distributed at band camp

• Black Socks- wear your own 

• Band T-Shirt Under the Coat - wear on home game Fridays

• No large Jewelry, or distracting accessories

 

There are times where the heat or informality of an event does not warrant full uniforms. For these performances we will use the following:

• Band T-Shirt- Provided as part of fee

• Brown or Khaki Shorts (for hot weather)

• Pants or Jeans (for cooler fall weather)

• Tennis Shoes- Neutral Colors Preferred- White, Black or Grey. 90% of tennis or running shoes are fine. Just not neon pink.

 

Students may choose either a tuxedo or dress to wear for concerts. The outfit includes: 

• Dress: Black Concert Dress with Black Footwear. No colored or large jewelry.

• Tuxedo: Black Tuxedo, White Tuxedo or Dress Shirt, Black Bow Tie, Black Dress Shoes (not marching shoes), Black Socks. We provide the jacket and pants, you provide the shirt, bow tie, socks and shoes.

Concert wear is fitted during camp and sent home for you to keep until you are done with them. They can be altered and dry cleaned. They are yours for 4 years or until they grow out of them. The replacement cost is $125 for the tuxedo and $75 for the dress. If you prefer to wear your own pants that is also fine. These are more of a personal item to you, so dry cleaning and alterations are up to you. That is different than band uniforms.
