Band Parent Tips for Friday Night Football Games

Dropping Off Food

The easiest place to park is behind the school (access via Victoria Road).

The cafeteria is most quickly accessed by going down the center stairs; it’s on the left past the band room.

Attending the Game

Purchase a booster pass ahead of time or buy your game ticket through the GoFan app for a smoother entry.

Parking is available in AB Tech student parking on the home side of the stadium (along Victoria Road).

Enter the stadium from either end of the home side.

Show your Cougar pride by wearing Cougar gear (or buy some at the game!).

Where to Sit

Band parents typically sit in the upper section behind the band or to the left beside them—but sit wherever you’re comfortable!

After the Game – Pick-Up Plan

Make a pick-up plan ahead of time—the band will need to return equipment to the band room after the game.

The usual car line is a good pick-up spot, but expect some traffic.

Game Schedule for the Band

The band performs the National Anthem before kickoff and plays as the teams run onto the field.

They play stand tunes during the 1st and 2nd quarters.

Halftime show – The big performance!

4th quarter – More stand tunes and cheering on the team!

Other Helpful Tips

Support the student athletes! Bring a few dollars for raffle tickets.

Stay comfortable – Bring a stadium seat, cushion, sweatshirt, or blanket (especially in cooler months).

Support the concessions and booster club – Grab a snack or drink while you enjoy the game!
