Help Send Our Wind Symphony to the NCMEA Conference!

We're headed to the North Carolina Music Educators Association (NCMEA) Conference — and we need your help!

Thrilled to announce that the AHS Wind Symphony applied and was one of 2 high school bands selected to perform at the 2025 North Carolina Music Educators Association Conference. It has been 26 years since the band last performed at NCMEA. We are honored to have the chance to go back! Thank you to all the people who work with our students, to all those who support the program, and to the 2024-2025 Wind Symphony who made the recordings used in the application.

The Asheville High School Band has been invited to attend the 2025 NCMEA Conference in Winston-Salem this November, and it's an incredible opportunity for our students to learn, grow, and represent our school and community on a statewide stage.

This three-day event is one of the most prestigious gatherings of music educators and student musicians in North Carolina. Students will attend masterclasses, participate in ensemble performances, and be inspired by some of the best music educators and student performers from across the state.
