About the United States Marine Band

Founded by an Act of Congress on July 11, 1798, the United States Marine Band is the premier band of the U.S. Marine Corps. It holds the distinction of being the oldest professional musical organization in the nation and has performed for every U.S. president since John Adams. Known for its precision, artistry, and history, the Marine Band represents the very best of American music and tradition.
